The Devastation

As I sail from sea to sea,

There’s many things that I have seen

Mountains made by mysteries

A skull from many histories.

As I lay my heavy head,

Lying in the captain’s shed

I heard the storms from outside

And I knew it was a wild ride.

I woke up to pounding water,

Acting like a drowning toddler

I went up to swim free

Acting like a suffering bee.

Then I busted through the wall,

And in the dark water I shall fall

Swimming up to the shore

Beach, sand saved me from gore.

I’ve struggled many days and many nights,

A war with death I will fight

So all I have now is my food supply

SOS, why me, why?
